Upon launch of SelfControl today's date is automatically chosen as the current. To change the date you can go back and forth either by day, week, month or year through the respective items in the "Nav" menu.
To switch to a different date directly in one step, choose "Date" from the "Nav" menu. "Today" in the "Nav" menu brings you back to today's date.
